Abstract

Penelitian terdahulu mengenai perempuan Salafi di Indonesia terutama berfokus pada domestikasi, segregasi gender, dan agensi perempuan, sementara perhatian terhadap proses terbentuknya profesionalisasi dan otoritas keagamaan masih terbatas. Artikel ini menganalisis transformasi perempuan Salafi dari peran domestik menuju profesionalisasi keagamaan serta bagaimana proses tersebut membentuk otoritas keagamaan mereka. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan dan analisis tematik, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pendidikan memungkinkan perempuan Salafi memperoleh modal keagamaan yang kemudian mendorong profesionalisasi, memperkuat pengakuan sosial, dan pada akhirnya membentuk otoritas keagamaan dalam komunitas Salafi. Pendidikan memberikan pengetahuan keislaman, pengalaman kelembagaan, dan legitimasi akademik yang memungkinkan perempuan menjalankan peran sebagai pendakwah, pendidik keagamaan, dan pengawas lembaga. Melalui peran tersebut, mereka memperoleh pengakuan sosial yang memperkuat legitimasi sebagai aktor keagamaan. Artikel ini berkontribusi pada kajian otoritas keagamaan perempuan dengan menunjukkan bagaimana pendidikan dan profesionalisasi mengubah modal keagamaan menjadi otoritas yang diakui secara sosial dalam gerakan Islam konservatif di Indonesia.
