Digital Archiving Policy

Mutawatir: Jurnal Keilmuan Tafsir Hadith is committed to the long-term preservation of its digital content to ensure continuous open access for readers and researchers. To guarantee that all published articles remain permanently available and securely backed up, even in the unlikely event that the journal ceases publication, we employ the following archiving strategies:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

This journal uses the Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve its content and create a decentralized, distributed archive.

  • LOCKSS and CLOCKSS

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. These systems allow the libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration.

  • Institutional Repository

All published issues and articles are deposited and permanently archived in the institutional repository of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, Indonesia.

  • National Library Archiving

The metadata and full texts of published articles are regularly harvested and archived by national databases such as Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) and OneSearch by the National Library of Indonesia.

  • Author Self-Archiving

We strongly encourage authors to deposit the final published PDF version of their articles in their respective institutional repositories, personal websites, or non-commercial academic networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu) immediately after publication, provided that a clear citation and DOI link to the original publication in this journal are included.
