Author Guidelines
Articles submitted to the Mutawatir: Jurnal Keilmuan Tafsir Hadith editorial board must adhere to the following guidelines:
- The article should be based on scientific research.
- The article must be an original work, not previously published, and not under consideration for publication in any other platform.
- The article should be written in English with a formal style and structure.
- The article should include the following sections: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Discussion, Conclusion, and References. Details are provided in this link.
- The article must be typed in in a Word document (Microsoft Word), one spaced on A4-paper size, and 12pt Garamond. See the template.
- The article should be approximately 6,000-8,000 words long.
- The abstract is written in English and is approximately 200 words long, with 5 maximum keywords.
- Full name(s) of the author(s) must be stated, along with his/her/their institution and email address.
- The author(s) must ensure that any Arabic words and/or phrases are written using transliteration. Details of Mutawatir’s reference style and transliteration are provided in this link.
- Notes should be numbered in the form of a footnote.
- When a source is cited for the first time, full information is provided: full name(s) of the author(s), the title of the source in italic, place of publication, publishing company, date of publication, and the precise page that is cited. For the following citations of the same source, list the author’s last name, two or three words of the title, and the specific page number(s). The word ibid. maybe used, but op.cit., and loc.cit. are not.
- For the bibliography, Mutawatir follows the Turabian citation style.
- The author(s) are advised to consider using reference management tools such as Zotero or Mendeley
- All article manuscripts will undergo peer review by qualified academics in the field, a process that may take several weeks.
