Jurnal Review Politik (JRP) is an international, peer-reviewed journal published biannually by the Department of Islamic Political Thought, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Philosophy, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, Indonesia. The journal provides an academic platform for advancing rigorous theoretical and empirical scholarship at the intersection of religion, politics, and governance, with a primary focus on Southeast Asia and the broader Asian region. It seeks to connect regional political dynamics with global political science discourse and to contribute to international scholarly debates, particularly on the intersection of religion and political transformation in Asian contexts.
JRP welcomes original research articles, comparative studies, and theoretical contributions employing diverse methodologies within political science and related disciplines. The journal covers key areas such as religion and politics, comparative politics in Asia, governance and public policy, and international relations and regionalism. It prioritizes manuscripts that demonstrate clear theoretical contributions, engage with international scholarship, apply rigorous methodologies, and offer analytical insights that extend beyond descriptive or localized case studies.
